Overheard at CF after McGhee, "Maybe we should call it Corpse Fitness instead of Corps Fitness!"

re: corpse fitness. If you are able to make it through these Hero workouts without stopping or if you're not completely flattened by the end, then you're not going hard enough or heavy enough! These are not regular workouts where you give your regular effort at your regular pace with your regular weights! These people gave their lives for your freedom - what have you given to honor that gift? C'mon already - challenge yourself!!

Amen DJ, I can honestly say it took every ounce of energy I had left to do those last 9 box jumps and a few of those were close calls! It is the least we can do to honor their memories!

One of the guy's that grew-up down the block from me when we were kids lost his son on 1 August, 2009 while he was on patrol in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan when his squad was ambushed by Taliban fighters. He left behind a wife and two very young children who will grow-up without him.

A little suffering and humility to remember those who gave it all is the least we can do!
