Tuesday Attitude: Slow and steady wins the race.

Sticking with the vintage wartime poster theme:

“Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”

How are those New Year's goals shaping up? With health/fitness goals, sometimes the plan may seem questionable, the process arduous, and the results frighteningly minimal...but maintain your pace -- steady and focused.

"What we have gone through in this period" (The London Blitz) :-- surely from this period of ten months, this is the lesson: Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never -- in nothing, great or small, large or petty -- never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

Waiting for Rosie the Riveter... I swear I've seen her there on a Saturday 8am.

Uh oh, what? I'm married to a strong, determined, tough, capable woman who gets things done and kicks ass at CF. Isn't that how you'd describe Rosie?

Rosie made an appearance on the CF Chicks With Nerve team shirt in 2007, seen at the end of this adventure race video. I also stuck her on my blog b/c she completely rocks: here.
