Got the Nerve? Weekend

Ok, so we'll be offline for bit whilst the GTN festivities occur. So here's some food for thought, something to percolate on, let marinade in the ol' noggin'.

This blog piece about Effort was forwarded to me, and, how about the remarkable similarities to our fitness experience at CF?!

"If all you're doing is the standard amount, all you're going to get is the standard compensation."

The "last 10%"...gotta love the concept!!

"The secret is to seek out the work that most people believe isn't worth the effort."

Now we have a name for where results can be obtained at CF...the "last 10%"...CFers, you "Got the Nerve"!

Matt D, nice post!! I like it!! THE 10%'ERS. What a concept? How do you know when you can't keep going, you don't if you keep going!! There it is, seek it, know it, learn it, live it... How many times have you thought maybe I can't keep going? But you keep going anyway...The only plateau is the one you just left behind...Somebody once said, "Hell is the impossibility of reason." Exactly, don't try to reason with your conscious, just keep going, the pain and agony will subside and you will live to fight another day!! That is the beauty of CF, bring it every time you walk through the door and you will be better for it when you walk back out the door!! Looking froward to a FANTASTIC GTN and to share in the fun and laughter with all you FREAKS who either Volunteered or are participating in the Event!! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!

MD although you were not at class physically, you must have been there mentally with the post today. - Right on JJ and a big thank you to my team last night, tennis Karen, Lauren, & Scott for getting me thru what seemed like the "unlucky" 7 that would never end.

Great GTN Kaag! A special thank to all of the volunteers. It was awesome seeing so many friends on the course providing nothing but encouragement (what else would you expect from CF’ers). THANKS TO ALL!

Congratulation to all who volunteered or participated in the GTN. This was my first time attending an event like this and I must say it was evident that you all did the extra 10% to make it a great event.
Anyone know where I can find the results from the race?
Thanks,
Steve
