Labor Day Special

We might have reached new highs in just how low we can get at CF...even the hardcore folks were blown out. 652 reps...but apparently a villainous combination. Good thing the camera battery was out...it wasn't pretty! (PS. I'm not a professional lip reader, but it's easy to tell when you are mouthing "I hate you" and that's not nice.)

Before reading on, sit down.

A)21 Pull Ups, 42 Swings, 15 Pull Ups, 30 Swings, 9 Pull Ups, 18 Swings (Transition Run 800m)
B) 3 Rds: 10 Burpee/10 Sit Ups, 5 Burpee/5 Situps, Run/Bear Crawl
C) 50-30-20: Push Ups, Bicycle Crunch, Dips (Transition Run 400m)
D) 3 Rds: 8 Goblet Squat, 8 Rev. Lunge, 8 Good Morning, 200m run
E) 10-to-1 Countdown: Push Press, L-sit, Box Jump (Transition 100' OH Lunge)

You better brush up on your lip reading skills. It wasn't "I hate", it started with an "F". :-)

Can we assume you don't mean Fabulous, Fun-loving, Friendly, and Fantastical?!!?

And I think the people who did last Sunday and were all like, "That 900 reps was easy." "That workout wasn't that hard" need to share some of the responsibility here....you know, things you might think, but ought never say aloud!:)

After putting us through a workout that almost made me religious (no offense), Matt came home whistling "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" and proceeded to bake a pumpkin pie. He's bi-polar - I'm certain of it.

It was the Cascade hops that made him do it!!!
There is something in those that make folks bi-polar......Besides that, for at least 10 minutes after the last 400m run, I was truly speechless, I could not fabricate a meaningful thought or desire...I was truly a mess!! Thanks Matt!!!

You're a crazy, crazy man Matt. I hope no one was taping me this afternoon as I impersonated a Zombie doing yard work. I think you brought my liquid outflow to a new low!

And now I am working on the inflow. Hope you have inventory Mike.

KaagFan: Great push today...you and BF closed shop...hitting every rep with solid form!

Most impressive, though, on your part was bringing the family to a workout that was advertised as "Buffet of Pain: Unlimited Refills." And you call me crazy?

PS.
Next time we'll have a 30-20-10 at the Keg-er-ator station for you.

I still can't feel my biceps.....Like I said afterwards, something is really wrong when you say to yourself "I can't run anymore because my arms are too tired."

ScottD said...

I'm in on that PS. !

Thanks again for the recovery beverage.

I was thinking the using the keg-er-ator for the transitions. Of course, we may never make it to the next station.

I miss days like these...almost 2 weeks without CF and I'm having major withdrawal.

Matt_D said...

BF...you gotta submit that for the next t-shirt saying!

Karate: what if the station transition was low-crawl...that's good practice!

Scott, We always have plenty of beverages!
Matt, All the crap you are taking for this workout. What's up with that? You gave everyone an option to do a higher or lower number of reps, didn't you? So we pick the higher number and then complain? We are all sick and twisted, in a good way.

I still hurt...but I can't wait to do it all over again!
