Between Thursday's "Night of Destruction" and today's 'Morning Masacare" ....two classic Corps Fitness workouts...This is why I love this place!! Does that mean there is something wrong with me????

No, LiveWRONG...you couldn't be RIGHTER!

There's a whole host of all-y'all who are on the Sunday Special Sh%t list (MikeL to name one...)

BTW...if you repeat it at home...full squat on Med Ball Cleans, KB touches ground on every Pull..and anything that can be counted 1,1...2,2...etc should be (like Rows, Lunges, Flutters, Step Overs)...that'll keep your reps up.

I thought i read a "Do not try this at home" disclaimer somewhere in the post....

was a good one! I hit the wall at the 4 build up sprints. I was praying you guys didn't see me staggering instead of sprinting!

Drat. I owe 40 stepovers on each side b/c I didn't count them as 1,1...2,2.

Jan, I'll join you! Shall we do it Tuesday night, right after I practice my pull-ups?? I'll meet you at 5:15 : ) this is tennis Karen, btw

And I saw that your knee didn't go all the way down on 7 of the Lunges...and you didn't get to 90 degrees on 11 Flutter Kicks....

Should we hold every class like the Challenge and have mandatory make-up reps at the end?!!

Wakinyan4 said...

The Challenge did raise the awareness of maintaining form....that is a good thing...I think.

Unknown said...

And here I thought you were working out....instead, you are checking out everyone's form to see if we were doing it right! In all honesty, given Saturday's "judging", I atleast thot I was doing the workout with better form...does that count? : )

Matt_D said...

Heck yeah it counts...in fact, instead of class, let's all go to Starbucks, have coffee and just THINK about a full squat on wall ball, arms locked out on OH lunges, chin over bar on pull-ups, and chest leading to ground on push-ups.

Fitness by osmosis.

ok, ok...you've made your point!

Visualization can be an important part of working out and competition, so LCDS isn't totally out there... as long as there is also some action taken afterwards!

Curious as to why all of the penalties at the Challenge were identified by the Indoor Judges.

Wakinyan4 said...

Because they were not standing in the rain, holding an umbrella, trying to write on wet paper, with a pen that had frozen ink, and only having your teeth to hold the pen, because one hand was frozen and the other, did I mention was holding an umbrella.........

Be careful here, next time we will not be so kind......BOB...don't let me catch you dumping sand out at the top of the hill....yeah I saw that pile of 30 pound sand.........

Bob said...

I was leaving a trail of sand so I could find my way back. Trouble is it all washed away.

Sounds brutal. Sorry I missed it. I have a feeling I'm one of the people on he s&^t list.

Matt, good idea. I could go for a Pumpkin Spice Latte right about now!

That was a sick-nasty, inhumane way to start a Sunday! This workout is easily in my top 5 for degree of difficulty. Upon completion, I asked Matt if he was aware of how brutal it was going to be when he drew it up on paper. He replied that "you just never know". Truer words were never spoken.. Looking forward to the next one.

JA: As long as you can picture a proper deadlift while sipping away, then you're fine.

Isn't it unspoken that after about 400 reps, you're just dry-heavin' to the finish of these things (at least I'm hoping that I am)? Who, other than maybe Livewrong, is gonna show if you advertise that upfront?!

There was a work out on Sunday? Sorry I missed it. I've been too busy working on my BMI.

It's a date Tennis Karen! See you at 5:15 for our stepovers!
