Great job everybody!!
...that is what I said to myself coasting back down the hill.
There is no other place in the world like this!
Outstanding work by an outstanding group of people.....thanks Matt D for putting it together and running that final 2 miles with me, much appreciated my friend!! WOW.....that about sums it up for me.
Taking a break from my domesticated duties, laundry, cleaning, etc. I came across this in a book I am reading, thought it might be relevant;
"A river begins its journey quietly as a small stream, usually in some obscure place. But it is a seeker determined to find its way. It does not know how to yield to obstacles, which can deter it for a time but cannot stop it. The river inexorably follows the path it has made for itself, or it carves a new course if necessary. It is unstoppable" .....Just like the woodpecker I can hear rat-a-tat-tatting outside my open window.....
Nice one to ease back in to CF after 2 weeks off...
Question: Do you have to be tougher to be a Tough Mudder or a CFer?
Tough Mudder is once a year. CF is every day. CFer by far......
Answer: CFer...The Warm-Up!
PS. I have to agree with Livewrong from Saturday...it might be the nice weather or something in the water...but people are really taking their game to the next level, flying around the gym...it's exciting! Keep setting a new goal, finding a new challenge...stay a step ahead of that comfort zone!
thanks for the awesome push for spring break! looking forward to taking on a 6 week challenge and take things to a whole new level!
I have to add something I intended to put in one of the earlier blog postings...and that is that another thing I love about CF and the people who attend is the non-complacency. There's never settling...there's always setting the bar higher...
So wishing I could have done all 4 madness workouts...
Answer: CFers, no doubt.
