Short bursts of high intensity interval training are all the rage!
"When compared to people on a normal exercise routine, like jogging, research has shown those doing interval training can double their endurance, improve their oxygen use and strength by more than 10 percent, and their speed by at least 5 percent. Even studies in the elderly and in heart patients found they had better oxygen use and fitness after doing interval training."

Speaking of intensity, anyone hear how Karla and Mike L. faired in the Mudder Trail Run yesterday??
I learned a lot. I started too far back and you had to run through a foot of snow to pass. Kyle also ran and I believe he kicked my butt. Well done.
That run was horrible!!!!!!!! Finished in 87th place Mike, probably coulda done better but it was impossible to pass anyone!
