Thursday Updates

1) Sat. Sept 18, IMABLE Duathlon, Wyomissing. Please stop by to cheer on the racers. Few races intentionally support the efforts of individuals with physical disabilities as they lead active lifestyles. This is an extraordinary opportunity for challenged athletes right in our backyard. Get up and move!

Mountain biking here in Fruita, CO is like tackling a high-speed slalom course on the meanest, gnarliest, two-wheeled beast you are willing to strap your legs around!!! Tight, twisty, fast, high-banked TURN loving, thrill seeking junkies only need apply!! Amazing riding, and amazing people, Fruita so far has been all that one could have hoped for, we are on to day two tomorrow and the Kokopelli Trail and Mary's Loop are at the top of the hot list, which is in close proximity to Horsethief Bench and that crazy-assed drop down into the funnel!! We had one minor fall today up on 18 Road but nothing to worry about, weather is always sunny, clear and 80ish with no humidity....the thin air was felt a bit when climbing steep grades at about 5,000 feet above sea level. Nepalese dining and plenty of New Belgium brews to go around...Life is good!!! You all be well back east!! JJ
